Z3100 help, can't print with new driver
« on: May 23, 2007, 03:50:40 am »

I'm on a mac and installed new firmware, driver, printer utility. Restarted both printer and computer many times. Printer shows right firmware but no matter what I do, the utility won't find the printer. I can manually locate it with the IP address, but that doesn't allow me to print to it.
Anyone have problems loading these on the mac (osx 10.4.9)? By the way, I've reloaded everything twice now.
Thanks, Doug

ps. I haven't called tech support because I'm only home with the printer in the late evenings. (Guess I'll have to take a day off just to get this thing back up and running.)

Try launching HP Color Center and see if there is a second printer name listed. If there are two, select the one with the IP address (or other name you originally gave the printer).
