I have a FujiGSW690111 camera that occasionally winds film on loosely to the take up spool, which pretty much ruins all frames . It's only a random problem, and I once had the same with a Fuji645 range-finder also. If anybody has any idea how this can be avoided I would be most grateful to know

Make sure the film spool is tighlty wound. Pull on the end of the film and turn the spool to take up any slack. When you are loading the camera keep one finger on the film spool to keep it tightly wound. Thread the takeup spool and make sure everything is tight when you close the back.
I no longer have my camera but that technique used to work for me. Have you noticed that this problem only occurs with certain brands of film?

John

Thanks John, I just loaded a film and did just, it that makes a lot of sense when you think about it.
It's funny but thinking back it seems to have happened with Fuji films as far as I can remember, that's kinda ironic huh.
Thanks again
