HP Designjet z3100 and Z2100
« on: May 18, 2007, 10:08:45 am »

I have been to HP's web site, and surfing google searches - in an effort to determine exactly what the difference is between the various models.

It appears that the Z2100 and Z3100 are available in 24" and 44" models. In addition, it appears as if they are being marketed - in Canada at least -  in two distinct versions per different size printer, the PS and the GP and perhaps three - with a version without either designation.

But the documentation is not clear about this.

Can anyone shed any light on this? There is a basic version. Then a version that has a Postscript RIP, and then a version that has the RIP and a Gretagmacbeth monitor calibrator?

Even HP's sales support are vague about this.
