Lightroom output for third-party printing
« on: May 15, 2007, 01:43:28 pm »

After six years of shooting digital I've finally got round to making a selection of 480 photos for sending off to print - 5x7.  I have worked on them in a Quick Collection folder.

I've worked through them all in LR 1.0 making the necessary adjustments and cropping to the aspect ratio.  As I understand it, the LR adjustments are stored as metadata with the original photo file.

I'll be burning them as JPEGs onto a CD or two.  How do I get them into a file format in which the adjustments are integral to the files?  Do I have to save the whole lot as dupes?

the sidecars you are seeing will only be needed for the raw files.....any format you export (jpg, tiff,....) will be adjusted and won't have any sidecar.....just export some files and check them out...you will see...
