Switching Libraries

Per forum recommendations, I have more than one library (3).  Each has 20k+ images.  The only way to change libraries is to close lightroom, and reopen.  It would be nice if:  a) you could "switch" to another library as a menu pick; or  even better, have multiple libraries open.
