HP Z3100 proofing papers
« on: May 13, 2007, 08:25:23 pm »

I'm just curious what Z owners are using for proofing papers.  On Epson I've always used the Epson Enhanced Matte as its reasonably priced and a reasonable performer.  It profiles and works well on the Z but I'm willing to change if there's something better.

Based on my query here

I bought a roll of Red River Ultra Pro Satin.  I can confirm Sean's reply that it looks like HP Pro Satin although it has a very fine stiple, not smooth like HP.  I have been using GE in Economode and the RR paper seems to show gloss differential a little worse that the HP, however RR have just released a version 2 and claim an improvement here.  I've just ordered a roll of the Rev 2.

Thanks, Mike.  Who did you order the new roll from?
