Beginners section
« on: May 13, 2007, 02:43:21 pm »

I would propose a beginners section in the forum where beginners questions are answered  with kindness. From a beginners point of view if you don’t know the answer you don’t  where to go. A quick reply from an expert can help immensely, at least get you pointed in the right direction. A few of the regulars have a vast depth of knowledge but are a bit curt in their answers.  I feel uncomfortable when beginners get jumped on in this forum. Perhaps it could be titled "Novice"

A very good suggestion.

I've now created a new section just for that purpose.

Great idea. I consider myself (slightly) beyond that stage after a few years of digital, but I sure would have learned a bit faster if there had been such a place to post my questions. And LL surely has the right mix of people to answer most of the questions that come up.
