I work with my P45 contax-mount at the linhof M679cs.
may be I want to switch to sinar P3.
I think I like it more, because I know the system since over 15 years.
does anybody know, there is an option to mount the P45 (contax)back?
it seems the P3 doesn't work with the contax-back-mount.
is that right?
there is only a flexadapter coming with the sinar P2. this is not what I want.
best,
bernd

Bernd:
Here are two ways to mount a P45/Contax to a P3 that provide the use of ground glass:
KaptureGroup Sliding Back Adapter w/Contax Mount for P3 ($1,995)
OR
Sinar Sliding Back for P3 w/Contax Mount ($4,325)
I don't know if the Contax mount Sinar Sliding Back is shipping yet. They have traditionally only offered Hasselblad V mounts for their sliding backs - these other camera mounts are new and may not yet be available. They weren't available as of February in the US. Perhaps Thierry can provide some updated information on shipping status.
The KaptureGroup version is ok. The Sinar version is superior in terms of craftsmanship and precision, of course.
