Yep, making the move is pretty hard, but it feels so good out there.
Certainly a place to visit, the southern Pacific part of Japan is so different from the mainland it's amazing they are allowed to keep it

45.000 Yen return during GW, could be cheaper off season... the closest air strip is on Iwo Jima, but that is closed to civilians, the next one is Hachijoujima, 600 kms away...
Of your images, the sunset/rise and the blue water strikes me with its simplicity. Did you try any panoramas this time?
