Kodak provides a very good pdf file on workflow directions in using icc profiles, here at the Kodak site, for Photoshop users:
http://download.kodak.com/professional/man...w_PShop_CS2.pdfThe information from Kodak can easily be applied to other papers and profiles for those papers.
Red River Paper provides a very good information and inkjet tips page for profiling information and color management here:
http://www.redrivercatalog.com/infocenter/tips/index.htmTHe page entitled "Color Profiles 101" should be helpful, linked from the page above.

Hello, I am getting my Epson R1800 tomorrow! I am so excited. However, I have no idea what to do when I get it home. Sure I can hook the thing up and install the software on my Windows machine, but when it comes to printing the proper way I have no idea what to do.
Is there a guide on how to use print profiles or anything like that? Something like a best practices on printing photos in Photoshop.
Things I am confused about:
Printer profiles: Does each paper have its own? How do I tweak it?
Do I convert to CYMK or stick with RGB?
Whats the first thing I should do to make sure the colors match up?
Thanks!
Natas
