RAW Colour Correction In Lightroom
« on: April 24, 2007, 09:06:27 am »

Hi Everyone

I'm quite new to RAW image processing and I need some guidance with colour correction. I'm using a Canon 350d, Lightroom and Photoshop CS2.

I recently took some photos of a red and black structure. I took some images in basic mode (JPG), Landscape, and others in creative mode (RAW), Av priority.

Now I understand that in basic mode the camera will post process the image as it saves it to JPG.

My JPG's are good quality the red actually comes out as red, with my RAW images the red is orange! I have loaded the images into Lightroom, I've corrected the white balance and expsoure but I can't get the true red, it's still orange. I've been  playing with the other settings without any luck.

Can anyone give me guidance?

Thanks in advance
