We just purchased a new apple Intel Xeon Dual-Core computer and we are wondering if Sinars CaptureShop 5.4.2 is compatable with the new computer.  We arnt having much luck and are just assuming it is not.  If anyone could shed some light on the subject that would be wonderful.  Thanks.

Shannon,

Capture Shop 5.4.2 supports Xeon Core Duo processors, but does not yet support Core 2 Duo processors.    

Can you give me a bit more information about which Apple computer you purchased?   What version of the operating system?  RAM?  

If you could please email me that info off line to save bandwidth I can forward it to our technical support manager.

Dear Shannon,

Just in addition to Matt: "IS Not Supported" DOES NOT mean "Does Not Work" with it.

If it happens that you have the Core 2 Dual processors, give it a trial, and most probaby it will work.

"Is Not Supported" means that we do not have tested all configurations and Sinarbacks and do not have yet the necessary full feedback to tell that there is no problem and that there might be some bug(s).

I have myself no problem at al with my Core 2 Dual and the configration(s) and Sinarbacks I am using it with.
