Print storage, presentation and protection
« on: April 10, 2007, 11:51:05 am »

Hi Folks,
I'd appreciate some advice and guidance on the topic of print storage. I've accumulated a lot of inkjet prints over the last few years, mainly on Epson Archival Matte paper, both in A4 and A3 print sizes. I've been storing the prints in the boxes that the paper came in, but I'd like to present the prints in a more 'professional' manner.
Are there any 'preferred' storage options for inkjet prints? Is it really necessary to buy archival boxes and archival sleeves? (Are sleeves necessary at all?).
I should say that the prints are made to show to friends, colleagues etc and I'm not trying to sell my work.
Any input or comment would be appreciated.
Regards
Stephen Edgar

Might have a look at Dale's website.  He has some thoughts on the subject.......
