Z2100 partial printing
« on: April 05, 2007, 11:45:22 am »

Hi,

I have just bought my first wide format printer (yes newbie question!) which is a 24" Z2100, which I'm mainly going to use for printing posters and indoor banners.

I have been trying as a test to print an A2 portrait poster from photoshop CS2. Nothing fancy just a picture and some text and I'm trying to print it without any scaling or cropping - it's A2 in photoshop and I just want to dump it on a bit of paper.  Can anyone please advise me on the correct print settings (especially paper size and layout)- I'm running CS2 on windows XP SP2 and at the moment the printer is directly connected via USB.

The problem I am having is that whilst everything looks fine in the preview, the printer just prints the first four-ish inches of the print, then cuts off A2 worth of paper, and then 'hangs' with the printer sceen saying something like 'finishing print'.

I can print a test print OK, but the problem still happens when I print from Acrobat.

Any help please?  Thanks

Edward
