Michael We will really like to see a test with the Canon 16-35 f/2.8 LII Vs 17-40 f/4 L lenses, like the previous one you did. Thanx.

me too and while you're at it, michael, could you get 'em to hurry up with the long awaited 1Ds upgrade. i mean, jeesh, no one has had to wait longer on a canon model upgrade than us poor landscape and studio souls!! btw: the foveon rumor floated a day ago: i've heard others suggesting this might be a canon direction. care to reveal any more of the authoritative rumors? . . . it's a long time 'til fall, and we could use the grist for the rumor mill for sure!!

Canon has become very slow in supplying me with review gear. I'll have to give them a nudge.

I'll be keeping mum on the Foveon rumour for a while. There's just not enough corroberating evidence at this time.
