Charity Printmaking for the Special Olympics
« on: February 13, 2007, 02:54:21 pm »

After trying to determine whether this post is appropriate, I'm going to go ahead with it.

This Saturday, the 17th, I will be jumping into the freezing waters of Lake Monona in Madison, Wisconsin to raise money for the Special Olympics.  I have made a video documenting my training regimen (it involves removing clothing and getting snow thrown on me) and set up a webpage.

What may be of interest to you, the photo enthusiasts, is that I'm also offering prints of my photographs to people that make large donations.  $40 for a 8.5x11" print (paper size) and $80 for a 13x19" print.  These are made in my HP B9180 printer on HP Advanced Photo Paper.

I'm trying to get up to a thousand dollars by Saturday and I'm getting really close!  Take a look and feel free to pass this information or just the link on to anyone you think would enjoy it.
