Kodak Pro Back dead?
« on: February 02, 2007, 05:55:37 pm »

I have a kodak pro back plus and the monitor on the back no longer "stablizes" rendering the back unusable without teathering it to a computer. It looks like the screen needs to have "tracking adjustment" like you would expect from a funky VCR input. has anyone else seen this? Can I still have the back serviced? and if the answers to these two questions is no, then does anyone want to buy a really cheap kodak pro back that can now only be operated when teathered? or at least provide me with a gun for suicide.

Kodak is still servicing thru 2008 the last I heard.  These guys handle Pro kodak items as well: [a href=\"http://www.midwestcamera.com/]http://www.midwestcamera.com/[/url]

Also I would go over and ask questions at DPreview.com in the" kodak SLR" forum.
Good luck!
