Does anyone know if the sharpening settings in the camera have any effect on the appearance of the image in the screen on the back of the camera?
I shoot 99.9% RAW so I let ACR et al do the final sharpening but it would be nice if the camera preview screen gave some indication of whether the image was truly focussed or not. Zooming in always looks 'soft' even though the image usually turns out sharp. So, I wondered if the jpeg preview image that the camera is displaying is sharpened or not, and if so, does the camera sharpening setting affect this?
