Mamiya 50mm shift lens
« on: December 09, 2006, 06:06:54 pm »

I recently purchased a used Mamiya 50mm shift lens for the 645.  I can't figure out how to rotate the lens?  Any suggestions?

Also, it did not come with a lens hood. Any ideas where I might find one?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Grip with one hand the front section of the lens between the focus barrel and the rear shift section (essentially you are gripping the front shift section).  With the other hand grip the rear of the lens and rotate.  It's a firm indent so grip and turn with medium force.

Let me know if that helps, if not I'll post or send some images.

Mike

Edit, can't help you with the lens hood as I don't have one.  In fact if you find a good source let me know..
