3800 icc profiles

Just started working with my new 3800 and it I must say I am impressed. However, a question I have is how to print with non-Epson papers where the manufacturer hasn't yet developed printer profiles for the 3800?  For example, I printed an image on Moab Kokopelli studio semi-gloss today and used the 4800 profile and it seemed to work OK. Wonder what you other 3800 owners are doing??

I have a Gretag Macbeth EyeOne Match to do my own custom profiles.  You can buy custom profiles online as well, from InkJetArt for example.  It seems that paper manufacturers will also have profiles for certain printers.
