i use the gottschalt in a very modified form, together with the emotion75.
i have lenses from 28-135mm. 24xl would also be possible, but i dont have it.
longer lenses would become difficult to use for limited shift possibilities.
i can shift the front 30mm and move it in a circle.
i can slide the back to compose with groundglass or move it 30mm to right or left.
i can rotate the sensor without removing it.
its more or less the ds-di body, but few mm thinner because my sliding back is a special construction by him,- some type of prototype. it has the sensor mounted with a special adapter which is very thin, but so the sensor can be rotated without removing it, also it has a metal slider as a film cassette, which you put in if you slide out the back.
you have to remove 3 screws to screw it afterwards again on the hassy adapter. where is light is also shadow.....
so not very practical if you change often the camera.
i will get now a second back for the camera, the normal little back ( which he lists on his webpage ) to work with viewfinder. the camera can be handheld than and will be really little.
the camera goes back now to him second time , cause several thing are not 100% ready and i will make some days off. in general the camera is very leight weigthed and has more or better features than the other solutions i know.
