ColorEyes Display Pro
« on: November 30, 2006, 12:47:51 am »

I am yet another person researching monitor calibration tools and looking at both Color Eyes Display 3 and EyeOne Display 2.  I work with both PC (main desktop) and Mac (PowerBook) computers so need to have cross-platform softwares and licensing.

Has anyone had direct experience with the new ColorEyes Display Pro? Is it worth getting over the now older Display 3 version?  Is there a low cost upgrade path if I decide to buy Display 3 and upgrade later?

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

If you purchase Display 3.2 for the PC now you can upgrade free to Pro when it is released, which hopefully will be within a month or so. If you want Pro on the mac now you should purchase that and you will get 3.2 for the pc with it. When Pro for pc is released you will be able to just download the demo and go.

I know this because I run the store. If you buy Coloreyes Display Pro bundle now you will get 3.2 for the pc and Pro for the mac. When Pro is released all you will need to do is download the pc demo. If you just want a download buy the pc and you will get a free upgrade as soon as it is available.

Jack,

I just bought the 3.2 bundle for the PC a couple of days ago because Windows is my main OS.  I also use a Mac Powerbook, can I d/l and register the Pro version for Mac?

Thanks,

Paul

Starting in early Novemebr we have been shipping 2 serial numbers. One for the PC and one for Pro. If you got a blue card in your package you are all set. If not you should have gotten an upgrade email by now. If not  send me an email. jack@integrated-color.com
