Hassy H2 Grip Battery Charger?
« on: November 13, 2006, 07:00:57 pm »

Anyone using the Hassy H2 grip battery found a safe/usable non-Hassy substitute for the $175 (  ) 7.2v lithium ion charger?  Ya ya, I know, if you can afford a Hassy, why can't you afford a $175 charger -- along with the $212 grip battery -- OUCH.

It is worth it over the batteriy version which was £36 UKP to fill up per pop - it pays for itself in 5 uses

And lasts longer

For 1 year, I used lithiums at £1.15 each (£3.45 for the 3 needed). I had all sorts of problems then I splashed out on the rechargeable kit and wow, problems disappeared. Now charging P25 and H1 batteries is a way of life after each shoot. The charger is worth it. Just do it!
