Which Black on Canvas

Can I use matte black on canvas in my Epson 9800? Will there be any problems?

The Epson web page for canvas says the canvas has a "medium gloss finish" - does this mean I have to use photo black?

Anyone have experience with matte black on canvas? Thanks in advance.

Most of the third party canvas is made for matte black use. No idea if the Epson canvas can be used with matte black. Here is what I've been using:
