How does the Canon G7 compare to the Panasonic DMC-FZ50 and will anyone be testing it a Lumnious Landscape.

There's no need to cut and past the manufacturer's specs. They're easily available for anyone to find.

This site doesn't as a rule review digicams, so don't expect one of the FZ50.

In any event, these are quite different cameras aimed at quite seperate types of users.

A more appropriate question for Michael might be, " Michael, why did you give up on your Sony R1 for the Canon G7? Was it size or viewfinder? Obviously the lens on the R1 was good and it shot RAW- even if slowly and clumsily."
