Bridge/ACR: Why 240 dpi in Bridge?
« on: October 31, 2006, 04:05:16 am »

I have ACR set up to open images @ 300dpi.

So, when I batch process a folder of images in Bridge, they all process @ 300dpi.

I just want to know, why is it when I run the mouse cursor over image icons in a Bridge folder, they indicate that they are at 240dpi?

Presumably, this is some kind of default.

How can I change it to 300dpi?

Thanks.

Can't explain why, but am just curious as to why you care.  DPI are only relevant when printing - this setting has 0 effect on monitor display or during processing.  And when you print, the dpi setting is done through the printing dialog, not the acr/bridge setting.

Just curious, to be honest.

I suspect it might be a Canon default.
