import + back up and email from LR
« on: October 27, 2006, 04:00:55 am »

When I import a new shoot, I have the option to back up my files at the same time. I think an excellent option that I want to incluse in my workflow.
But the back-up is also made on the computer hard drive. I want to make a back up to an external drive. How can I achieve this?
[edit: sorry, found the solution. It is so obvious that I missed it... just hit the button choose when importing and you can indeed choose any back-up drive! silly me  )

I also had another thought. I rember from my Windows/ BreezeBrowser experience, that I could email images directly from the application (no nee to save, export, import, etc... in different apps). This should be an excellent addition I think for LR. maybe I should suggest this on the Adobe Form. Any opinions on this?

Regards, Giedo

ok, found it. But the mail-option stays light gray, so I cannot select it...
I work from Library, with selected images and my mail app open.
I guess I need a book to learn more about this application...
