HiThe AFD II has its batteries in the grip. ( 6 AA Batteries). I've tried with rechargeable AA's but it doesn't work. The Phase back has it's own battery in the back. That is funny, I used rechargeable Ni-MH AA batteries on my AFD II and AFD and I don't have any problems with them, with the P45 back.

Now I am shooting with a 645AFDII and a RZ67 proII....so I got the best of both worlds (just my 2cents)[a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=81456\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a]
A question since you're shooting with a RZ: Does your RZ underexpose compared to the AFD with studio strobes and handheld Lightmeter?I have to compensate my AFD by about 1 stop and the RZ 2 stops compared to my lightmeter. The same reading is dead on with my Canon 1Ds. I tried two different lightmeters.Does anyone else experience this? Thanks[a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=81519\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a]
