Paper Feed Problem on an Epson 3880

I am no longer able to load MK papers (i.e. Moab Entrada Bright) using the rear manual feed. I can hear the rollers spin as they try to grab the paper then I get a feed error message. I can still use the automatic sheet feed but with longer pieces of paper it is hard to prevent the paper from skewing. The rear feed will still load PK papers, although I often get a paper load error message. If one is persistent, the PK papers always eventually load through the rear feed.

I have used the Epson printer cleaning sheets to clean the intake rollers for the ASF but there doesn't seem to be an easy way to clean the rear feed rollers which are inside the printer. I have also tried spraying alcohol on paper and running it through the rear feed but it doesn't seem to have improved anything.

The printer is 4 years old.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

I have a 3880 and still fight the rear feed issues with the thicker papers.
Mine will not feed from the rear if I just insert a sheet in the slot.
What works is to hold both sides of the paper and hold firmly down until the paper catches.
Works about 75% of the time.
A real pain for sure.

I have to do that all the time to get even the PK papers to feed. It's no longer working for the mat papers.
