Now that is cool. About 1/60 sec?

Thanks, John. Actually 125th.

Then it's definitely a downpour. We could do with some of that over here: we're parched.

Colorado could stand it too, Jeremy. Wish I had a way to get it to move that way. Their fires are out of control. The place is parched.

I would if I could, Matt. Got a bunch of kids, grandkids and great-grands there. Happily -- well I guess I can say happily nowadays -- we had a couple fires, starting with the Waldo Canyon fire back in 2012 that burned off the forests on the hills close to Manitou Springs. They should be safe for the time being, but I hate to see what's happening elsewhere in the state. I love the place with a passion, even though I'm now in Florida for good.

And Kevin, I've thought about an ark. We've had some real downpours like the one I stepped out onto the deck and photographed. John's probably right. I probably should have slowed down to about 1/60th. It would have given an even better idea how intense that downpour was.

After two heat waves in a row, we got a downpour today for about a half hour. Hooray!

I like it when you can see the rain falling in a photo. Always a sign it was really coming down!

Long term forecast is saying July will be wetter than average but nothing yet. We are ready.
