Flickriver has a lot of super images made with the Pentax 645D here

You can get more tech information by clicking the "i" icon in the bottom right corner of each image in the thread.

I have had the 645D since it was released and have made good images with it. I have no complaints regarding my 645D Images. For me the problem is that the camera's computer processing system was way under powered so preview times seem to take forever. The camera handled like a snail. I don't use the 645D since getting the 645Z several years ago. Although both cameras have great image quality at base ISO, the 645Z is useful up to nearly 3200 where the 645D has trouble above 800.The Z Camera has plenty of internal computer power so it handles well. For my hands-on experience, I think the  645D is a good camera but the 634Z is a fantastic camera!

Having both, how do you see the difference in colors and however else you judge overall image quality between the 645D and 645Z in good light at 100asa? Is the difference between CCD and CMOS very noticable?

If you don't use it anymore this seems a wonderful occasion to pass it on :)

I can’t afford a second 645Z body so my 645D is a good backup camera to the 645Z when traveling. Both cameras have excellent landscape image quality at the baseline 100 ISO.

I have both and have quite a few images taken with them on my blog below. Besides the bulk they are great cameras. The 645z for some reson requires more of a post production workout  to get the color i want out of it but has a much bigger shooting envelope.
