Timeless
« on: June 29, 2018, 11:30:05 am »

Living in Utah means we don't have an ocean to visit. But we just visited California and I made my first journey on the famous "Big Sur". This rugged, magnificant coastline immediately took my breath away, moody fog covering the mountains, the sound of the waves crashing against the shore, the smell of the Pacific Ocean and the oneness of just BEING with and in the presence of something so large, so alive, wild, untamed, different from my mountains and red rock of home. I will keep many memories from our journey through California but this sight of the coast will forever be in my minds eye....timeless.

I like what you've done here. Somehow the scene shows some melancholy almost, for me. As your description. I can understand.

I like the look you've gone for. And I love driving up & down the Cali coast on SR 1 (though it's pretty messed up in the Big Sur area right now) and stopping at all the pretty spots.
