Between earth and sky

Snow Canyon State park in Utah. When we arrived that afternoon from our week long family trip to California and the magnificent Big Sur, down through the vineyards of central California  and the area surrounding San Luis Obispo. It was 68 when we departed L.A and 113F close to St George! Even in the morning when I took this capture, it was approaching 80f shortly after sunrise...yikes. But it was worth the heat and early morning journey to capture this moment...between earth and sky

Very interesting different textures of the surfaces. It almost got an abstract side, too.
