I am using a Kodak dye sub 8660 now, with the coating step that really does a nice job without hindering the image (much :-)
I am looking at inkjet (the z3100 HP in particular) and think that overall they have taken the step beyong the 3800 in impact and photo-like quality (first time that I have seen) with minimum grief on color setup
BUT, how do you protect the prints? Already I hear the glossy equivalence ink can smear, and one has to 'be careful'
Two questions. How are people protecting without degrading?
and do any of the new printers give top quality (24", high impact, auto black change, color anagement etc)
Thanks
Victor
