I don’t concentrate on fashion photography much, but occasionally am impressed by the imagination of some of the work. I don’t remember having seen the work of this photographer. The whimsy of this “bubble” series is wonderful:

He is a marvelous photographer. On the bubble series, when the model who was , as I recall, Simone Delacourt, when she went into the bubble, there was only 14 minutes of air! So the precision required  in the execution of each shot was significant. IMO, he and Avedon revolutionized fashion photography in the 60’s.  I’ve tried recreating the style in PS but some limited success but it required a lot of work which tells you a lot of the work required to do his shots in film.
