I'm about to invest in calibration hardware and wanted to hear any opinions about either the X-Rite i1Display Pro or Datacolor Spyder5PRO. Which one would you recommend?
I have a Windows 10 based MSI GS73VR 6RF STEALTH PRO laptop. It has 2 GPUs - The integrated Intel HD graphics is the default GPU and there's also an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GPU, which I have enabled when running my photo editing related applications like Lightroom, Photoshop, Topaz, etc. According to the LCD panel manufacturer (Au Optronics), this 17" 4K panel is capable of displaying 100% Adobe RGB. I also plan to purchase an external 27" ViewSonic VP2785-4K monitor. I would like to purchase a colorimeter to make sure both of these displays are calibrated correctly.
Thanks for your help!
