We might as well garner some stats - I'll put up another poll about backs.

Great idea Edmund, maybe change it from radio buttons to checkboxes, so one can select more than one system?

cheers, yair

I checked "other"--I'm shooting film only on a completely orphaned and abandoned Bronica GS-1.

For a device to create traffic in a forum it has to have problems.

Probably the Rollei cameras don't have any serious problems (at the moment. We will see what happens when they switch their proofed old system for a new untested one).

Incidentally I'm using a Rollei 6008AF and have no problems with it and I never would open a thread saying:
Hey, I have a Rollei and no problems.

Probbaly I should rephrase that

Stephan

- Hassy H1 with film back for now, but could be replaced by something else in the coming days.
- Ebony 45SU with 6x9 (220), 6x12 and 6x17 film backs.

Cheers,
Bernard

No recent traffic on this forum about my lovely Mamiya 6.

Of course it's film, but it's my only remaining MF camera. For my uses, my Canon 5D does fine, so I'm not ready to spend $30,000 or so for MF digital yet.

Not necessarily. A lotof discussion on the FM has to do with quality and people looking at trade offs. I did one on P25 vs P45 and another FMer did it on Aptus 22 vs 75.

I wonder if Michael would consider a little easier way to share and compare images here. I have his P25/45 disc and was happy with the test results. But others wanted to see what happens in real world situations in hands of different users.

Copyright isnt issue since images are still low res (disc usualy needs crops to make any IQ sense.

Victor

Hassy H1 (x2) w/ five lenses 50-110, 80, 100, 120 and 150
most likely selling in the spring to go into a Rollei Hy6

Phase One P25

Leaf Aptus 75

Canon 1 Ds Mark II (x2) w/ four lenses 28, 50, 85 and 28-70

Sold all my Contax and most of Pentax 67

Left is a huge RZ kit and a small three body Pentax 67 rig that has not seen the light of day in over a year.  Thinking about putting them both up for an Alpa and a lens or two.

A poll here is a bit like polling the court of Louis IVX on whether they prefer caviar or truffles...

Maybe we need a new poll: Do you prefer black or white truffles?
