Schiermonniksoog, one of the 'Wadden Islands' in Northern Holland, Europe.

At ebb, the sea is pulled back beyond the horizon.
Focus doesn't mean a lot, it's all about sand, sand and sand.

I  like the cinematic quality of the second image. I anticipate the dog and woman will walk to the other side of the frame. ... In my opinion, the falloff is a bit strong. But that's a matter of aesthetics, and as far as that goes, I defer to the artist.
