Monkeys and copyright
« on: April 24, 2018, 09:27:32 am »

Remember a while back when a monkey snatched a photographer's camera and took some cute selfies? PETA sued the photographer saying the copyright should belong to the monkey, not the photographer. PETA lost, appealed, and just now lost again. And they are ordered to pay the photog's legal fees. Such silliness!

I saw one comment that maybe the monkey should sue PETA.

The PETA should stop monkeying around this issue.

Cheers,

No use, Bart. This is the kind of baloney that keeps them in business.

I hope their baloney is strictly vegetarian. (But that might get them sued by PETV!)

Ethical treatment of animals is an admirable goal but good grief, surely there is someone at PETA that understand how silly the organization appears now. Maybe it will reign in some of its fanaticism though as long as beautiful actresses strip to get attention for them, who’s to complain, eh?
