Photoshop CS problem
« on: October 03, 2006, 06:03:00 am »

Can anyone help me with this strange problem? I use the CS file browser for selecting files from the My Pictures directory. There are probably over a hundred sub-directories. Suddenly today the file browser "lost" the My Pictures directry- all the other directories on the drive appear normally in the Folder pane, but it only appears on the right side where the thumbnails are. I can still access the directories but not as easily. Any clues as to what has happened? More importantly, any idea how to fx it ... anyone?

Not quite sure what you mean, but, once you have opened the browser, across the top you have a drop down called view. There are a few settings in there you can try. Also, if it isn't going to the folder you want it might be because you opened a photo from another location, Photoshop seems to remember the last place you opened from
