That’s very sad. The problem with the whole situation was that Epson, like HP, and Canon has no imagination when it comes to media. The best thing they ever did was resell the Canson media. But they set this kozo situation up for failure from the very beginning by never releasing it in the US. I had a show of my work last spring printed on it and backlit and people were amazed. No one had ever heard of it. I stretched it on wooden frames and it was tough as nails while very thin with full gamut, amazing dmax, and super resolution. That was the most imaginative media Epson ever put under their name.
I don’t know why Hahnemühle doesn’t pick it up. Their own “rice paper” to put it politely is not competitive in the washi realm. The newly emerged Canson would also be smart to market it.
If anyone has connections at these companies or others please tell them to look into it. Gary’s videos totally sell it.
I will send a note to Carol Boss at Hahnemühle who is their front person in customer relations in the US.
Please send her a note if you have used it.

I've had an extensive discussion with Gary about this very subject and came away with a view that the probability of being able to resuscitate this paper ranges from zero to very low; one can never say never, so there will be more on this subject on this website, but I'm just advising people not to unduly excite their expectations; it's a very difficult situation.
