Obviously, discussion of a digital camera with an 8x10 sensor does not belong in the medium format section :)

I think it's a great thing this guy is doing, following his dream and making a product that otherwise does not exist. I wish him lots of luck and hope he does well.

Everything but the price.  :(  I might be interested, but then again the reason I'm shooting 4x5 & 5x7 is to use 19th century lenses.  I just like the look that classic film and dry plate gives with those old lenses.

I think there are some sensors coming down the line which will be really cheap at that size - not high rez but cheap.

Pretty cool but a little out of my range too. Glad it is being done.

I couldn’t find any price information, how much is the 911 going to cost?

I believe that this 12mp offering is an amazing demonstration about the fact that image look is the next frontier.

Cheers,
Bernard

$106000, see: https://www.dpreview.com/news/9846474491/you-can-own-the-world-s-first-single-shot-8-10-digital-camera-for-106-000

I think that the sensor they use is normally used in X-ray machines.

:-\  ups... This was very interesting until I saw the 106000$
Itˋs a bad sign when you have to take time to count the numbers..
