Yes Mark the 44's are only $500 more then 24's at least in the Epson field.
I ordered my 3rd. 44" printer Wednesday the Epson P8000 for conversion to dye sublimation. (When will this end?)
None of the Canon or HP's are covertable for dye sub work.
Next decision what size press to buy??
Hey Dan - good to see you man -
The Epson are built like tanks, for sure and they are great printers.
Yeah, true - only the Epson can be converted to dye sub inks - a cool thing, for sure.
What size press? Well how about something that handles the max size of what you can print? :-)
Guess you've gone down the printer rabbit hole too - should be hitting the rabbit warren soon....
I have used Canon and used Epson and like them both. My favorite is HP Z3200ps 44" in part because I don't need it for continuous work and sometimes need to leave it for 2-3 months at a time.
