With the end of the PMSI sale who now has the best price on the Z3200ps?

Someone can PM me with a recommendation if it's not appropriate to post one here.

The cheapest I've seen is here:

HP Z3200ps 24" Printer

I looked around a fair bit - as long as it comes with HP's warranty - should be fine.

I'd ask questions first if I was looking into it seriously.

Talking $4K anywhere else....

maybe this link helps to scope out current pricing deals on the HPZ3200 printers:

https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=hp%20designjet%20z3200ps&N=0&InitialSearch=yes&sts=ps

But be aware... the Z3200ps seems to be redundantly listed on the B&H website at different prices, so what's up with that?

This is due to the product number being different via HP or the distributor.
MFR # Q6721BB1K is the most current one while MFR # Q6721AB1K id no longer.

But also make sure you check this out with our suppliers/vendors since some may still show the older sku on their end.

I understand this can be confusing for the customer end, but the printer should be exactly the same otherwise.

Mark, thanks. That makes it not such a great deal anymore. Probably should have pulled the trigger last fall when it was under $3k for the 44".

Actually the B&H price of $2,699 is not that bad for a 24" printer.  The 24" printers never have been all that much cheaper than the 44" ones ($3500 now)  - something I don't understand.

When you consider that the embedded spectrophotometer is included in the price, it's not so bad.  Figure the price of any other 24" printer, then add in the cost of a stand-alone Spectro and see what it looks like...

No so bad, actually.

I'm running three 17" models right now and my next jump will be a dedicated 44". I am skipping right over the 24" models.

Yes Mark the 44's are only $500 more then 24's at least in the Epson field.
I ordered my 3rd. 44" printer Wednesday the Epson P8000 for conversion to dye sublimation. (When will this end?)
None of the Canon or HP's are covertable for dye sub work.
Next decision what size press to buy??

Hey Dan - good to see you man -

The Epson are built like tanks, for sure and they are great printers.
Yeah, true - only the Epson can be converted to dye sub inks - a cool thing, for sure.

What size press?  Well how about something that handles the max size of what you can print?  :-)

Guess you've gone down the printer rabbit hole too - should be hitting the rabbit warren soon....

I have used Canon and used Epson and like them both.  My favorite is HP Z3200ps 44" in part because I don't need it for continuous work and sometimes need to leave it for 2-3 months at a time.

I have both the 24" and 44" Z3100 and they appear to contain basically identical components except the 44" is wider. I can see why the two are so close in price.

I bought the HP Z5200 (44 inch) three years ago. Great printer, rarely clogs. Just replaced the print heads works fine
