Please any indication of spool software for mac?
Without being a RIP, one that only does print management.

I am not sure exactly what you want, but I use Mirage Print. It has saved me far more than the cost in time, paper and ink.
I would never print from any editing programme again.

Try the demo of Qimage One;

A work in progress, the last fast though.

Whether the following text for Qimage Ultimate also covers Qimage One on the Mac is beyond my knowledge but you could ask in the Qimage forums:
>>>Data handling: Smart data management means sending image data to printer drivers in smaller chunks rather than overwhelming drivers by dumping the entire image at once.  Qimage's proprietary printer driver data streaming not only ensures more reliable printing, but it also allows Qimage to succeed in printing gargantuan prints where other tools fail.  In addition, Qimage can overcome printer driver length limitations entirely if the driver offers a roll paper/banner paper selection, allowing Qimage to go far beyond the 44 or 127 inch limit of your driver!  It is not uncommon, for example, to hear from Qimage users who have printed one contiguous panoramic print 20 feet long when their Epson driver stops at only 127 inches! <<<

Met vriendelijke groet, Ernst

What exactly are you looking for? Not at all sure what you mean by "spool software". Also, a RIP* is a product that rasterizes non raster data (like Vector data, InDesign files etc). NOT necessarily a 3rd party print driver. So if you can define what you need, maybe we can help.

thank you all,
maybe he explained it wrong.
what I would like is software when you print from Photoshop or Lightroom, control all these prints.

Still not clear. Both will print via a print driver; what printer are you using? What isn't LR providing that you need? Control what exactly?

what I think is bad is the queue of impressions controlled by the MAC, when I send the impressions by the LR or PS.

Yes...
Until you can describe what you hope to accomplish, what printer you're using, I'm afraid continuing is pointless. I have no idea what you're asking about or what Queue of impression means. I realize there's a language difference here, I'm trying to help but I'm totally lost as to what you are asking about.  :'(

Thanks  Andrew,

I use two printers, one Pro 4000 and one Pro 6000.

I use PS and LR for prints.

I would like to have better control of the print queue, but without being a RIP.

Thank you,

OK, that's a start. What control do you wish to have? And again, a RIP is software or hardware to rasterize non raster data so we don't need to go there.
You do have control over the order of what gets printed, AFTER clicking Print on a number of images, using ImagePrint. So you can print 12 images in order, then while Print 1 is output, you can alter the queue to print #4 next, then #12 etc. Is that what you want? IP supports the 6000, doesn't appear to support the 4000 and it's rather expensive.

Epson Print Layout may be an option. Take a look at this article.
