Color Management is Art

Well, perhaps color management is more art than science. Some of you already knew that of course, but still: this sold for over $10 million.

Well somebody needed a quick color test chart to profile his Hasselblad H5D-200c?

I wouldn't have paid a dime for it....it is obviously made with sRGB profile, not ProPhoto.  So many out of gamut colors.

Hi,

Interesting link. I am looking forward to new interesting tools like:
  • ColorCheck Passport Limited Edition, made in 99 numbered copies.
  • Bablecolor's patchtool, CreativeEdition.
Best regards
Erik

I looked at it for a very long time, slightly crossing my eyes, as if it were a stereogram.  After two or three hours, a 3-D portrait of our 45th president seemed to float above the color cells...
