Looking For Master Printer For My Portraits
« on: March 17, 2018, 10:17:18 am »

Can you recommend some Master Printers. Looking to give my clients a different look to the Portraits and Family portraits vs the Normal Prints. Thanks

WOW! You own that domain name? That's amazing. Have you been attacked by Adobe?

It looks like he's had the name since the mid-1970s, so I'd imagine that he's on safe ground. Maybe he should sue Adobe :-)

Sue?  No, sell it.  Adobe might be willing to buy it.   :-)

I can recommend Mac Hollbert might be one of the best printers in the USA.

I actually adopted the name about 1992, for my Cibabchrome printing lab I had been running under my own name since 1975. Way before Adobe appropriated it...

When Adobe Lightroom first came out, I visited their booth at MacWorld and showed my my business card, "The least you can do is give me a free tee-shirt." They did.   ;D

Indeed! Mac is a true master print maker, the man behind Nash Editions (no longer there). Out here teaching at the SANTA FE Photo Workshops.

Don't ask him about his opinion about the use of Giclee (it's a dirty word)  :o
