Epson 4800 clog head cleaning
« on: March 13, 2018, 09:16:15 pm »

I am presently in the process of running cleaning cycles on this 4800 with AIS product clf007p+
using refillable cartridges.
Printing a nozzle check pattern shows k channel missing
Printing a .jpg of all 8 channels from marruttusa.com shows all channels clean
Why the difference ?
I should also mention that the cleaning fluid is cyan tinted for visibility

thanx for any input

I have seen a situation where the channel is dropped out completely on the nozzle check but it prints on the Marrutt target. I would trust the nozzle check to be telling us that there is probably an air trap in the channel, so I'd run another cleaning cycle to recharge it.
