Epson Surecolor p7000 borderless 8x10 cut sheets? help

I am new to this printer and love it so far, but I have clients who need 8x10s regularly.   Do any of you experts out there know how to print border less on 8x10 with this printer? It seems the printer wont do it,  Is there a rip or software that's reasonably priced that will?   Thanks for any help.   My old 3880 finally quit on me so having to cut each 8x10 is terrifying to me.   I don't have a matte cutter yet so cutting takes awhile.

Unfortunately, any 24" or larger printer won't print borderless on sheets.  It's because of the way the printer holds the paper when feeding so it can print on it and rolls are the only way to do this option.  Not even a RIP will help it since it's just the way the drivers work.

The best option for doing borderless with 8x10 images would be to get a 10" roll and print the images that way (and rolls usually are better priced this way vs sheets).

Replace your smaller printer with a P800 or such. Using small cut sheets in a 24 inch printer is not exactly a time-saver!

Thanks so much for the responses,  The p7000 says it can do larger cut sheet border less, but maybe that's no even true.      I'll get some 10" roll, that's the easiest fix.  Now I gotta find a use for my 600 or so sheets of 8x10 ultrapro satin 4.0 lol    Thanks again!

Not sure where you read that, as the p7000 can only do full borderless on roll paper. It has no way to grip the paper near the top and bottom of a sheet, so the minimum border is about .25 on the top and .56 on the bottom.  The p800 was engineered for sheet paper so it can print full borderless.

  Also note to get borderless on roll paper you need to set the printer to borderless(auto expand) and enable the double cut mode.
