Rolling hills with some cows
« on: February 19, 2018, 03:42:13 pm »

Here is a fairly old shot from june 2010 and from Abruzzo in the Gran Sasso National Park. It is located in the Apennine mountains only two hours from Rome. It's a high plateau from about 1200 to 1800 meters of elevation and the highest peak is 3000 meters. It's surrounded by old villages and an old castle from around the year 1100. It's probably my favourite area of Italy although hard pressed by other amazing areas.

The camera was at the time a Canon 1Ds mkIII and the Canon 70-200 f/2.8L IS lens at 200mm.
